This is not my first blog. In the past I have dallied with a creative writing site, wrote a few posts on infrastructure when I was freelancing as a business journalist and, most recently and most substantially, a faithblog called bornagainbloke.com.
Bornagainbloke was my attempt to mix the everyday interests of an ordinary man with an extraordinary faith. I covered many areas, though the posts that were most successful tended to be the sporting ones - if you Google "Christian footballers"you will very likely find my 2012 post on the Premier League men of faith.
It was good while it lasted, but as the writer said, there is a time to tear down and a time to build.
So I have torn down bornagainbloke to build a place for all my writing outside of my day job as editor of trade mag Process Engineering.
This blog will still include faith writing, but also posts about media, my cycling efforts, and anything else that pops into my head. One blog, because I'm one person, even though I may wear many hats (or helmets).
It is a journey of discovery, and I hope you'll join me.
Business journalist turned B2B PR man, I also write about the joy of cycling & the joy of the Gospel
