First of all, apologies for the long period of silence on this blog.
Since the end of 2014 and beginning of this year I have been hunkered down developing, along with @duyvenbode among others, a new site for Catholic Charismatic Renewal in England.
Between this, my day job as editor of Process Engineering and being the father of two small children, my spare time has been limited (even my cycling has suffered! Go to my Strava profile to see the proof).
The new site, ccr.org.uk, was launched at the end of January with the slogan "Life in Colour". Below is a screenshot of the homepage, and I think you'll agree, it's pretty colourful:
The site is full of what I hope is both lively and informative content that will engage those that are perhaps not familiar with Catholic Charismatic Renewal or phenomena such as Baptism in the Holy Spirit.
Here are a selection of articles currently showing on the homepage:
Those who read this blog regularly will be pleased to hear I've already managed to squeeze one article about cycling on to the site:
What is CCR?
If you've read all of the above and are asking the question "That's all very well John, but What is Catholic Charismatic Renewal?", then I suggest you visit this page:
Movie star
In other news, while I've been away from this blog I've also become a movie star...
...well kind of. I appear as a guest in a great new Life in the Spirit course that was launched at the start of the year. Please read this article on ccr.org.uk for more information, and visit The Gift website for details on how to buy the course DVDs or downloads.
In the meantime enjoy this promotional video below, featuring yours truly!
